A representative from the mayor's office attends meetings to show mayor support. The city commission has also shown support. The committee has hired Deb Nelson from DLN Consulting. Deb provided information at the meetings held in April and June. August will be the next meeting time. Need a plan to use existing dollars, figure out what resources are readily available and coordinating within the agency is primary to developing plan. The priority of this group is educating the public that homelessness is real and in their community.
