As a voice for people who are homeless, the North Dakota Coalition for Homeless People coordinates and supports efforts to provide basic human needs and housing.

◊ Elections are held in each January and positions are for a term of one year. For a complete listing of board members please click HERE for the pdf file.
◊ Executive Committee meetings are on the third Wednesday of alternating months, and regular board meetings are on the fourth Tuesday of other alternating months - beginning with March 25. All meetings are held at St. Leo's Community Center at 3:30 pm.

10-YEAR PLAN UPDATE:
The Minot 10-Year Plan was approved in December 2007; the city is aggressively working to implement the phases of the plan.

 Region 2 Activities:
Presentations on homelessness were given to 983 individuals.  "Freezin' for a Reason" was held by three different groups in the Region raising 5,500 lbs of food and $5,235 in monetary donations to assist those in need. National Hunger and Homelessness Awareness week featured two TV appearances, one radio interview and stories in the Minot Daily News.  Out 5th Annual MAHC Banquet/Fundraiser raised over $33,00 to continue serving the needs of the homeless.  The Holiday Train event raised over 2,600 lbs of food for food pantries and $3,700 in monetary donations in support of MAHC and soup kitchens. A story in the newspaper featured National Homeless Memorial Day.
