10-YEAR PLAN UPDATE:
The Turtle Mountain Reservation is engaged in strategic planning to end long term homelessness adn utilizing the city of Fargo's model plan. There is a diverse group working on the Turtle Mountain 10-year plan. Entities involved in helping get data on the homeless include the school system, the general assistance office, human services, housing office, 5th Generation (drug rehabilitation), landlords (Section 8), and county social services. There is a need for more housing. Assistance is being given by the Region 3 Human Service Center to determine supportive service needs.
