Region 6

10-YEAR PLAN UPDATE:
The Jamestown Sun reported: "With the mayor the lone dissenter, the City Council’s Finance and Legal Committee voted 4-1 to support the South Central Homeless Coalition’s plan to end homelessness in the region in the next 10 years."

Region 6:
Region 6 participated in Homeless Awareness Week by hosting a Soup and Bread Event.  Guest speaker was Michael Carbone, along with keynote speakers Jessica Dahlager-SCHSC, David Klein-Executive Director of Stutsman & Logan County Housing Authority, Fran Geisler, and Lieutenant Teresa Brecto, officer of The Salvation Army.  Special guests:  Government Officials, Council Members, Police Officers, and key Public Figures in our nine county area of Region 6.  Local residents were encouraged to attend this event which featured a short video on local homeless issues. 

Region 6 includes the counties of Wells, Foster, Griggs, Stutsman, Barnes, Logan, LaMoure, McIntosh and Dickey.
